A one day intensive course designed to give girls and women the street smarts needed to protect themselves in questionable or dangerous situations will come to St. Lazare this spring.
But organizers say that in order to make it happen, enough participants must register by the end of March.
The White Tiger Street Self-Defence Course for girls and women will be held at the St. Lazare Community Centre, 1301 rue du Bois, on April 10.
The course, $75 for students, $85 for adults, will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is open to girls 12-years old and up. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and to not wear any jewellery.
