Countless multi-hued butterflies will be released this weekend in an effort to aid Vaudreuil-Dorion based La Passerelle Women’s Shelter. The event, that will take place this Saturday June 19 at Wyman Church in Hudson, will boast a host of family friendly activities on the lawn. The day will also include a barbeque scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At the same time, participants will be able to purchase individual butterflies that will each be stored in their own box. A butterfly release ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on the church grounds. Wyman Memorial United Church is located at 513 Main Rd. in Hudson. For information, call 450 458-4912.
